Reservation: 

• All reservations are to be made with First Choice Tours only. 

• No contract exists until First Choice Tours receives and acknowledges in writing a completed reservation with the initial non-refundable deposit. 

• A contract stating the payee will only travel with First Choice Tours exists after the payment of the initial non-refundable deposit.

Initial Deposit:

• To secure your place on the trip, a $500.00 deposit is required at the time of booking together with a completed reservation form. This deposit is non-refundable once paid. 

​

Final payment:

• Final payment for all portions of the package outlined above must be paid in full 60 days prior to each tour.  Failure to pay in full by this date may result in certain services not being available. Those who sign up past the final payment due date are required to pay the full trip amount at the time of booking.  

• All costs are calculated using the exchange rate at the time of the initial tour request. First Choice Tours reserves the right to adjust the final fees at any time before the departure date if there is an increase in the exchange rate.  Any necessary increase will be calculated at payment of the final balance. 

• Overpayments on the account may not be refunded. 

 

Deviations:

• Any changes and/or significant modifications to your trip package 0-60 days prior to your departure date will incur a $50 change fee (plus the cost of any additional items) and will result in the delay of your travel documents. 

• Any individuals wishing to travel on a different itinerary from the original group will be charged a standard minimum $100.00 administration fee.

Land Only Participants:

• If you are a LAND only participant, it is your responsibility to send a copy of your flight itinerary/confirmation so that the tour director can keep track of your arrival and departure on land and make sure you are where you need to be.  If your flights deviate from the group’s flights, private transfers are subject to charge.

Passport/Visa: 

• It is the traveller’s responsibility to have all necessary travel documents, including a valid passport and visa.  It is recommended your passport is valid for at least six (6) months after the duration of your stay.

 

Travel Insurance: 

• Travel insurance is highly recommended. We offer Travelex Insurance Services at competitive group rates. You can purchase travel insurance within 14 days of making your deposit on the tour. 

 

Mobility:

• It is your responsibility to make First Choice Tours aware of any mobility issues you may have that could impact your ability to participate in the tour. 

 

Cancellation Policy:

Flight Cancellation:

• From 100 days to 91 days prior to departure: Penalty of $150 USD per cancelled seat.

• From 90 days prior to departure: Penalty of 100% of the air fare. 

• After air fare is issued, it is non-refundable. 

• Any changes after ticketing will incur a ticketing fee. 

 

Land Cancellation:

• Initial deposit will be non-refundable once paid.

• From 61 to 90 days prior to departure: $250 per person after deposit.

• From 60 to 30 days prior to departure: 50% penalty.

• From 0-29 days prior to departure: 100% penalty. 

 

Unforeseen Events:

• If for any reason beyond First Choice Tours control, but limited to strike, labor disputes, accident, act of war, act of God, fire, flood or other emergency conditions, First Choice Tours or any of its suppliers is unable to perform its obligation under this agreement, such non-performance is excused and First Choice Tours and or suppliers may terminate the agreement without further liability of any nature, upon return of deposits paid.  In no event shall First Choice Tours and or suppliers be liable for consequential damages of any nature for any reason whatsoever.

Company Liability: 

• First Choice Tours has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the suppliers used are safe, reliable, efficient, well respected and checked thoroughly and they all maintain the highest standards and operate within the law and regulations of the country in which they operate. 

• The availability of some of the facilities is dependent upon local weather conditions and cannot be totally guaranteed.  First Choice Tours cannot take responsibility for these weather conditions, neither for closure due to maintenance and repair or public holidays and festivals.  However, First Choice Tours will take all appropriate action to organize alternative facilities of similar standard and notify the traveling group as to the reasons in as much time before hand as is possible.  If First Choice Tours is aware of any facilities being unavailable, we will endeavour to modify our advertising accordingly.
